1. This Educational Website and Videos

This educational website and its video content are hosted by GoDaddy. GoDaddy may process cookies and technical or analytics information in connection with hosting and serving this site under its own privacy policy. We do not make comprehensive claims about GoDaddy's data retention practices on your behalf.

This site does not currently accept new newsletter subscriptions. The newsletter signup feature is paused while its email service is being updated. You can follow Parcelume on social media for new videos and educational updates in the meantime.

2. Newsletter Signup and Existing Subscriptions

Website newsletter signup is currently paused while its email service is being updated. The site does not currently accept new newsletter subscriptions. MailerLite is being set up and tested, but has not replaced the live newsletter service and its account review is pending.

If you previously subscribed through GoDaddy Email Marketing, that service may continue to hold your email address and subscription information. Each newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link.

Parcelume does not sell or rent newsletter email addresses. Receiving a requested calculator estimate by email does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Any future newsletter signup will be separate and optional, with confirmation before a subscription becomes active.

We will update this notice when the service changes.

3. Free Property Tax Estimator

The estimator is hosted separately on GoDaddy VPS infrastructure at estimate.parcelume.com/estimate and operates over HTTPS. Inputs may include a property address or parcel ID, purchase price, closing date, estimated market value, and homestead choice. These inputs, together with purchase assumptions, produce an estimated result.

The application does not save search inputs or results to a database. An essential session cookie lasting up to 15 minutes is used for application function. Temporary IP-based request limits may apply to prevent abuse.

Application-level and proxy access logs are disabled. The hosting provider (GoDaddy VPS) may retain technical and security logs; the full scope of that retention has not been independently verified.

Newsletter signup, analytics, and automatic feedback submission are disabled on the calculator. The Report an issue link opens a draft in your email application; nothing is sent automatically. If you send it, we receive your sender address and message content. Full details are available in the expandable Calculator Privacy Notice at estimate.parcelume.com/estimate.

Optional Estimate Email

You can select email delivery before calculating, or request it from your result. Both options send only the requested estimate and its assumptions and disclosures to the address you enter. Providing your email address for this purpose does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Email delivery uses Postmark. Postmark processes the recipient address and message content; Postmark's current account content retention period is 45 days. Your email client or mailbox provider may retain the message after delivery.

Server-side delivery records — including delivery status, failure codes, alert attempts, and timestamps — are kept for up to 30 days. These records do not contain the recipient address or message content. Operational alerts contain only a failure type and a reference identifier.

Acceptance by the receiving mail server does not guarantee inbox placement. Estimate open and link tracking are disabled.

4. Hosting and Backups

The property tax estimator application is hosted on GoDaddy VPS infrastructure. Recovery backups — covering software, county data, and configuration, but not sessions or logs — are encrypted before being stored in a private Backblaze storage account. Versions are retained without automatic deletion. We do not make claims about provider-level disk encryption.

When contacting us, please do not include property addresses, parcel IDs, financial records, or other sensitive personal information in your message. We receive your sender address and message content; there is no automatic feedback transmission.
